Vintage 22ct gold wedding band, full British hallmarks for Birmingham, 22ct, 1929. The mark for the date could also read as 1853, as the shield stamps are rectangular, but given that the wear is relatively light, possibly the later date is more in keeping. Maker's mark is W.M stamped in rectangle. Band is bevelled and 3.25 mm wide. The ring fitting is English size J+ (USA size 4.3/4) with an internal diameter of 15.70 mm. Very good pre-owned condition, just light normal wear. A jeweller could buff up the exterior to a new shine if you wanted.
