Beautiful 18ct yellow gold and platinum ring with two good central stones, and 2 small diamonds to each shoulder. This is a lovely sparkling ring, and the two stones romantically symbolize thee and me (or as the French put it "Toi et Moi").
Octagonal shaped setting to the central diamonds, with platinum tops. The stones are flush bead-set. The valuation for this ring describes the diamonds as: one is old European cut, estimated weight 0.16ct., one is early modern brilliant cut, estimated weight 0.22 ct. (to the naked eye, the stones appear the same). The colour is I, and the clarity is SI. The 4 shoulder diamonds are single cuts, estimated at 0.01ct each. The ring size is English N (USA size 6.1/2) with an internal diameter of 16.92mm.
There is thinning to the rear of the band. It could be built up without any problem at a later date. The valuation refers to this as general overall wear, and states that it is presented in safe condition. The valuation for the ring is NZ$2300.00 and the valuation is supplied to the purchaser.
