Fairly modern ring, 18ct yellow gold mounted with an oval Ceylon type sapphire and two diamonds. Partial rub-over settings, 18ct yellow gold and rhodium plated white gold. The gold is stamped "18ct". The sapphire is oval mixed cut, approx. 7 mm by 5.2 mm by 3.4 mm, estimated at 1.04 carats. The valuation for this ring states that is appears eye clean, with good colour quality. The diamonds are round brilliant cut, approx. 2.7 mm each, estimated to total 0.14 carats, very good to good make, G-H colour and SI clarity. Face of ring measures 8 mm by 12 mm (5/16 inch by 1/2 inch). Total weight is 3.22g. Ring is in very good condition - very minor scuffs to band commensurate with use - could be polished by a jeweller if desired. Very attractive item, would make a lovely engagement ring. Ring size is English J (USA size 4.3/4) with an internal diameter of 15.6 mm.
