Vintage, estate pair of 14carat gold cufflinks in the form of Boxer dogs. Made for Tiffany and Co., the retailers, by Larter & Sons, Newark New Jersey. Come in original Tiffany & CO. box. Weigh 16.3 grams. Ovals 17mm long. Classic cufflinks - oval base with textured surface, each with marvellously modelled boxer dog. Wonderful detail - from the collar to the mouth, nostrils and snout. Excellent workmanship - top quality to tiny moving parts, as is to be expected from Tiffany and CO. Come in original black box, with embossed gold TIFFANY & CO on the lid and velvet and silk lining inside. Very elegant - for classic gentleman. Each cufflink is hallmarked: Back of the bar is engraved TIFFANY & CO. Also hallmarked with 14K and impressed mark for the LARTER & SON company of Newark, New Jersey. Very good condition.
