Rare and very unusual 14k gold gentleman's fob with a blank key that one could have made to fit a door or other lock. The fob also has a folding knife blade, very sharp be careful. The blade could be polished up a bit. The pencil is a lead pencil, it works great and measures 3 inches when fully extended and removed from the fob. The fob has an unengraved cartouche where one might engrave their name or initial. The fob measures 2-1/2 inches from the bottom of the rounded pencil to the top of the gold ring. Widest width 5/8 inch. Depth a little more than 1/4 inch. Weight 41.3 grams. There is a lot of gold in this fob, but you have to take into account the knife blade and key which are not gold. The price we are offering this for is most likely considerably less than the gold value if you took out the key and knife. This is a handsome and beautifully made fob dating from the early 1900s. Very good used condition guaranteed to please as are all our items. (Item #73020)
