14K gold, Enamel & Rose Diamond Pin. Victorian era pin. Circa. 1880 American. Wonderful craftsmanship is evident in this Victorian pin. 14K gold, tested with 14K acid. Rust colored enamel surrounding white enamel and royal blue vibrant enamel. Set in the blue enamel are three rose cut diamonds, 2 oval and 1 pear-shaped stone. The back of the pin has a hair momento behind glass locket with two half pearls. A stunning combination of materials. The pin measures 1 1/2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches high. 14.1 gr. 9.1 dwt. The pear rose cut weighs .40 carat, the two oval rose cut diamonds weigh a total of .30 carat. Total diamond weight is .70 carat. Diamonds tested with a diamond tester. All in excellent condition.
