Victorian ladie''s gold ring set with an onyx. Made in England, 19th century. US Size 6, can be resized quite easilly without compromising the ring. Approximately 13/16 inches long and 10/16 inches wide, including gold border. Oval black onyx. Set in Classic gold setting with a double ''frame'' and filigree outer border. Clear signs of hallmarks in the inside of the band, but they are worn and illegible. Tested positive for 14carat gold. May be higher, but we did not test 18K or more. Good condition.
