Victorian Scottish sterling silver, malachite, cairngorm and bloodstone brooch. Made 19th century - 1870-80, Scotland. Measures a little under 1 inch in diameter. Large faceted cairngorm - beautifully cut and faceted with diamond-like effect. Large stone stands well forward in the brooch. Surrounded by alternating green and red hardstones believed to be malachite and bloodstones, set in sterling silver, delicately engraved for further effect.
