Georgian Ring Circa. 1740 British An extraordinary ring from the Georgian Era. This ring has an absolutely amazing center Spessartite Garnet stone, surrounded by rose cut diamonds. The garnet has been tested with refractive index liquid. All diamonds tested with a diamond tester. 16 rose cut diamonds with total approximate weight of .35 carats. Diamonds appear grayish in color, which is typical for old diamonds in a closed (foil) back setting. The foiling will darken over time. This ring is over 250 years old. The front of the ring measures 5/8 inch wide and 1/2 inch high. Size 7 1/4 Can be easily sized by a jeweler. 4.1 gr. 2.6 dwt. Excellent original condition.
