Victorian Gold & Enamel Mourning Ring Circa. 1849 British 18K yellow gold tested with 18K acid. The ring is rare and unique. The hand crafted enamel work has an extraordinary contempory design and "look." Black and light blue enamel were an extremely rare color combination in that era, as well. Inside the shank, there is a hair locket. The ring is inscribed: "Edw..d Clkay Tayler obt 26th July 1849 OA 64" Size 6 You would not want to size this ring and disturb the inscription. 3.0 gr. 1.9 dwt
