Glossy jet bracelet with a well carved face of two entwined rings with bow, and alternating panels of Greek key design and carved geometric designs. (Whitby jet: carbon-containing fossilised wood, like coal). Expanding bracelet, Victorian, circa 1880s. One minor chip to top of a geometric panel, otherwise perfect. Bracelet is 3.3 cm deep at the front, and 3.7 cm deep on the sides and rear. Probably originally a piece of mourning jewellery.
