English fob medal with engraved cut-work design to the silver, and an applied rose gold shield to the centre. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1913. Maker is F.H.A. Ld. (probably F.H. Adams). Medal measures 3.7 cm by 2.4 cm (1.1/2 inches by 2 inches). Some mellow scratches mainly to the gold, but all just commensurate with age. Good looking medal. TW: 5.4g.
