This is a superbly hand painted portrait of a young woman on porcelain set in a brooch of 18k gold and decorated with 48 pearls and 4 diamonds. The brooch weighs 12.2 grams and has a diameter of 1-3/8ths inches. Considering this brooch is more than 120 years old the condition is excellent showing only minimal wear.
