Pair of Georgian Chrysoprase Earrings Circa. 1810 British 18K yellow gold tested with 18K acid. Oval and pear shaped chrysoprase cabochons. Chrysoprase is a variety of chalcedony that is apple green in color due to the presence of nickel. Chrysoprase tested with refractive index liquid. This beautiful pair measures 2 inches long with wire and 1 3/4 inches long without wire. 5/8 inch wide at their widest. Wires are 10K yellow gold and tested with 10K acid. 7.8 gr. 5.0 dwt. Gorgeous!
