Unusual Victorian period Mizpah brooch - a small tusk (maybe from a wild boar or similar), with ct gold caps, and the Mizpah blessing mounted in gold on the centre. Suspended small bell with prettily embossed pattern. Etruscan style rope and ball work to the gold caps, so popular in the late 19th century. Brooch measures 58 mm wide by 38 mm high (2.1/4 inches by 1.1/2 inches).
