Heavy chain necklace made from two fob chains, joined together. (Single fob chains are generally too short to make up a necklace). The lower chain is a graduated curb link ending in a parrot's beak clasp. All links are stamped 375 (9ct gold). Chains would date from late 19th century to early 20th century. The upper chain is a fancy curb-link, with an O ring joiner. No clasp, pull over the head to put it on. Total length of chain is 68 cm plus the pendant carrier clasp, which is 3 cm long. Top chain is 9 mm wide graduating to 7 mm, lower chain graduates from 7.5 mm wide to 5 mm wide. Excellent condition. TW is 60.4g.
