Edwardian Art Nouveau period long gold plated or possibly rolled gold chain with photo locket. Chain links open twist rectangles, and the colour of the metal is a dark rose gold. Very long length, as was fashionable back then, circa 1900.
The locket unscrews at the top, so you can replace photos. It is a slightly yellower colour than the chain. The front of the locket has an Art Nouveau decoration of three flower heads to one side. The top head has a turquoise bead, but the other two have lost theirs. (You can easily have another two small turquoises glued here). The photo is a charming study of a young woman, dressed in black. Chain is a little over 66 cm long (26 inches) with a spring-clasp at the end. The locket is 3.1 cm diameter (1.1/4 inches). All in very good original condition.
