Classical profile of a woman with grapes and vine leaves in her hair and around her shoulders. Plaque measures 4.25 cm by 3.1 cm. Natural curve of the shell, and the carving cleverly takes advantage of the darker colours in the shell to highlight the vines both in her hair and on her shoulder. Excellent condition.
