Antique French Pin Circa. 1820 France This wonderful pin dates back to the Georgian era. Quintessentially French with wonderful craftsmanship and design. Measures only 7/8 inch high and 5/8 inch wide. Back is 18K yellow gold, tested with 18K acid. Reverse etched glass snake with "Mon amite ne change jamais" (my love will never change) Half-seed pearls surround the oval with 5 Dutch rose cut sapphires on top. Sapphires tested with refractive index liquid. 6.1 gr. 3.9 dwt. A beautiful pin in pristine original condition.
