This is a charming Victorian ring with blue enamel and seed pearls. The seed pearls are set to look like a flower with stem and leaves. Leading up the the central oval is a heart-shaped design in gold with enamel. The gold has been tested to be 15kt, an older English gold standard. The enamel is in excellent condition. There is a small bit of old lead solder at the top of one side of the shank where it attaches to the top of the ring. It is not noticable when looking at the ring on a finger. The back of this ring has a memorial compartment.The ring is size 6.Our jeweller says a partial ring could be put inside to size it smaller; but the overall exterior size of the ring would remain the same.
