Absolutely beautiful Art Nouveau period Arts & Crafts necklace. Hallmarked for sterling silver, Chester 1910. The maker is the well-known Charles Horner. The silver pendant is triangular with delicate cut-work and silver bead work. The silver has that slightly dulled, sightly fumed look so beloved of the Arts & Crafts movement. Centrally set with an iridescent piece of dreamy sea pearl. The suspension chain also has a similar pearl. There are three little faceted pieces of stone also set into the face of the pendant. Length of chain is 51 cm, and the pendant hangs 6 cm below this. Pendant measures 3 cm by 3.6 cm. Excellent condition.
