Very fine pair of conical 19th century Victorian earrings. Carved in jet (possibly Whitby jet) with an intricate pattern of feathering, diamond hatching and rosettes at the end. Gold wires and mounts. Earrings measure 7.5 cm long from the ear. The base is 1.25 cm diameter tapering to 5 mm diameter where it meets the mount. Excellent condition. Rare to find such a fine pair of earrings with the jet undamaged.
