17th Century Ruby & Pearl Ring Circa. 1680 Indian 24K yellow gold - tested with 24K acid. natural foil backed ruby tested with refractive index liquid. Surrounded by 10 natural pearls. Remnants of green enamel can be seen on the back of the ring. The enamel work has been partially worn off due to age and wear. The face of the ring measures 5/8 inch in diameter. Other than the enamel, the ring is in amazingly good condition. 6.8 gr. 4.3 dwt Unmarked. An extraordinary antique ring, indeed!
