From an estate, an old, large carved jade pendant in the form of a butterfly. I do not know the age but it is certainly not new. The butterfly is 2 7/8 inches accross the widest part. Beautiful carving and smoothe buttery patina. The colour is a uniform, celadon green. The back is identical to the front. Open sections in the top allow for 3 gold loops under a scrolling, filigree support, which is newer than the pendant. Gold is not marked, but tests at least 12k. Good condition.
