Exceptionally fine Victorian gold chain. Gold tests between 14-18 carats. Made circa 1850-1885. Measures 20 inches long. Weighs 19grams. Each section of the chain comprised of 4 links, alternating in direction. Each of the quadruple links is a circle with concave center bordered by raised bands. Wonderfully made, visually highly appealing and best of all, enhances both day and night wear. No hallmarks, but tests between 14 and 18 carat. Good condition.
