Antique ring made of 18k gold set with rubies and pearls. Made in HOlland/Belgium circa 1890. US Size 5. I am told it can be sized at least 2 sizes up without compromising the setting in any way. Weighs 9 grams. Exquisite Victorian setting and fabulous workmanship: A double row of small seed pearls parallels an outer beaded gold border. The pearls are raised subtlely above the gold. Raised even higher is a central line of alternating rubies and seed pearls. THe whole arches over the finger in a very sturdy band. Has a romantic, medieval look about it and would be perfect for an exceptional wedding / engagement gift. Hallmark inside the shank - engraved 18K. Very good condition.
