Antique ethnic necklace. Sold to me as Afghanistani, but may come from any of the ex-Soviet Caucasian countries in central Asia. It is clearly very old.Extremely heavy - weighs over a lb.Made of heavy coilded metal with a light gold/yellow colour and years of built up patina. Tapering, curving, clearly hand-hammered metal towards the extremities, with conical ends.Simply cut out metal in the form of bunches of grapes, concentric circles and triangles are attached to the necklace.
