This is a Classic Egyptian Revival brooch designed with a pair of sphynxes on either side of a turquoise scarab, under lotus flowers and lieing on a pair of outspread eagle wings. Set with pearls. Filigree and raised details. Wonderful modelling of the faces of the sphynxes, texturing of the lotus flowers and engraving of the scarab. Beautiful quality design and workmanship.
