Antique drop earrings. 15carat gold, pink topaz, emerald, crysolite. Made circa 1820 during the Regency period in England. Measurements: total length 36mm/just under 1 1/2 inches; length of topaz 13mm/1/2inch;emerald 1 1/2mm. Weigh 5grams (together). Exquisite, colourful drop earrings made approximately 200 years ago and still in original condition. A framework of 15carat gold scrolls supports and encloses a long, tear-shaped pink topaz, an emerald and a crysolite. Stones are faceted in the old cut style. Lovely clear stones. Fixings are very easy to insert and comfortable to wear. Sections joined by loops, thus allowing the bottom section to swing as wearer moves. Overall wonderful look. Very good condition.
