Antique fish brooch / pin made of gold set with diamonds, turquoises and rubies for eyes. 19th century. The fish is wonderfully designed with raised fins. His tail swirls around. Old cut diamonds glitter as do the richly coloured turquoise gems. The lock on the pin is very secure and quite unusual. (see photos). There is a gold hallmark, somewhat rubbed near the tail.
