Extraordinary large antique enamel and gilt metal jewelry box signed Lebrun Limoges. The box is very large much bigger than almost any enamel jewelry box you can find today. It is artist monogrammed , artist signed and signed Limoges in the enameling at the lower right of the composition. The enamel portrait has a 3 inch diameter. It depicts a beautiful lady with a jeweled headdress. One of the most beautiful enamels you might ever hope to find, set in a jewelry box. The inside of the box has a new beige velvet lining on the bottom and top. Each side of the gilt metal box is decorated with high relief sculptured wreaths, flowers and a harp on each of the four sides. The top of the box is beautifully detailed and is in excellent condition. The box measures 7-3/8 inches long, and 5-3/8 inches wide. To the top of the enamel it measures 3-1/4 inches high. When opened, from the inside of the box to the side at the top it is 1-1/2 inches high. The inside of the box is more than 4-1/2 inches deep.
