sweet, stunning, exquisite post 1940's bronze jewelry box. is from early 1940's. art deco fabulous gilt, and silver accent. it is marked Japan on the textured ornate silver color base. hinged with red fabric lined interior. beautifully decorated in very high relief, figurative Musical Theme Scene. The edge and body masterfully detailed, decorated in medallion and floral relief in gilt. Aged, and in fabulous condition, with patina, wear and probably aged discoloring no tear. Height: 2" - width 5" - depth- 4".
