Beautiful antique artist signed Paulin miniature portrait and gilt bronze jewelry box with original velvet lining. The box top has lovely high relief sculptured floral design. In the center of the top is a miniature portrait of a beautiful lady in 18th century dress with a flowered hat. Her face is quite lovely she has a very peaceful and beautiful look about her. The box is in excellent condition and measures 3-3/4 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 1-1/4 inches high. The portrait and the box are in excellent condition. Along the sides of the box it is decorated with leaves and berries. The top portion has leaves with little balls in between. The detail and quality of this box are exceptional.
