Small fob or pendant watch, circa 1900. The case is 14ct rose gold over 800 silver with German hallmarks. The rear of the watch has engraved flowers with a little ruby stone as the centre of one, and an opal as the centre of the other. Perfect white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and little silver chapters. Fine filigree gold hands. Dial is in excellent condition. The glass has scratches and abrasions commensurate with wear and use - but this can be replaced if necessary. The movement has no visible maker's marks, but has at least four visible jewels. Stem wind - winds smoothly appears to run well but as we have not had it overhauled, there are no guarantees for accuracy or reliability. Watch measures 3 cm diameter and 1.1 cm thick. Altogether a lovely watch with an unusually decorated back.
