Antique Art Deco platinum and diamond watch set in a ring. Made 1920-30. US size 6 1/2. Diameter of top is a little over 1/2 inch. Weighs 8 grams. Classic Art Deco geometric design. A perfect circle with border of beautifully set, old diamonds. The sides have shoulders with similarly set diamonds. Despite the relatively small size, the face, with black numerals, is very clear and easy to read.Dial on right side for setting and winding. No maker''s name visible. Engraved on the back is : Y.G ROOM 1200 FEDERAL LIFE BLDG CHICAGO. Clearly this was the classic parting gift to a loyal employee. Inside of the shank is engraved:900 PLAT 100 IRID. The ring is in very good, original condition. The watch works and keeps good time.
