It is marked, "U.S.P.R.R. Exp. & Surveys-Cal., Geology-Plate VII." Attached label reads, "Explorations and Surveys for the Pacific Railroad Report of 1953-1860." Print is 9" x 6". It is a mountain, desert landscape with a wagon train and mounted riders about to cross an ancient lake bed. The rock formations show an old water line.
