From a collection of toy soldiers, all believed to have been handmade somewhere in the mid 20th century. 14 soldiers on horseback: 5 brandish weapons and are unique; 9 on horseback, in uniform, identical to each other. Stand appox 2 inches high. Each horse and soldier is attached to an oval base. There are raised numbers on the base, but I do not know what their significance is. Fabulous detail. All seem to be in very good condition. The material (believed to be lead) is very soft and they can be bent very easilly. However, they can just as easilly be bent back into their original shape.
