Appealing teddy bear, made by English company Merrythought for Harrods. Jointed arms, legs and head. He measures about 37 cm long (14.1/2 inches), and apart from a little missing thread-work on his nose and a scar on one glass eye, he is in very good condition.
He has black thread toenails, and the same for nose and paws. He has a shaved snout from underchin to below eyes - don't know if this was original or not - it looks good and looks correct, but I can't find a comparable to bear to compare him with. He's a lovely little chap of unknown vintage. Probably 1980s or so.
