Lovely boxed set of children's playing cards, Funny Families, presumably a version of Happy Families. The families in question each have four members: Master, Miss, Mrs and Mr. They have names like Master Bumble, the Beadle's son, or Mr Churn the Milkman. There are 12 families altogether, making 48 cards. All sets are complete and the cards are in very good condition. Still in their original box within a box., which measures 9.4 cm by cm and 3.1 cm thick. Late 1800s to very early 1900s.
