From an early 20th century purse collection, here is a fabulous small bag / purse entirely covered in silver and gold beads - round and long, sewn into a floral pattern.The bag is just under 4 1/2inches accross at the widest point.A bright turquoise silk forms the background and contrasting colour to the shiny silver and gold beads. Front and back are identically decorated and not a bead is missing. Gold-coloured metal clasp is also in excellent condition and clicks tightly closed. The pearly silk lining inside is entirely intact, but somewhat browned from age - the only sign of the purse''s venerable age.
