Vintage ladies grey dress coat is in Great
Condition, clean, one small spot tare inside
coat, picture shown above. Maker label
attached ILGWU- which means International
Ladies Garmet Workers Union.
Measures: (Size 5) 42in. L from the top down
to bottom of coat, 14in.W mid-section from
side to side. 22 3/4in. arm sleeve length from
top of shoulder down to the end of arm
sleeve.
ILGWU History: Founded in 1900, the
International Ladies Garmet Workers Union,
created a mixture of socialist and craft for
women's clothing industry, to protect workers
rights for women.
