For sale is a fashionable Vintage Corded Purse with a Brass Monogram of the letters, HSH. The purse measures 6 1/2" high and approximately 11" in diameter.

The purse displays black cord that has been sewn parallel to each side to create almost an envelope or diamond pattern on the front and back of the purse. This is a heavy fabric and the purse has the weight of a tapestry bag. It is lined on the interior with a black raw silk fabric. There are three pockets on the interior and the center pocket has a working zipper closure. The center pocket zipper also has a corded wrist strap attached that measures 6 1/2" long and is 3/4" wide. There are two smaller pockets on the interior as well, one for a mirror, which this purse has the original two sided mirror and one for a lipstick. There is one small cord attached on the interior that has nothing on the end of it and was most likely for a change purse however it is not here.The wrist strap makes the purse very comfortable to carry. There are the monogrammed letters in Gold tone that are solid brass attached to the snap closure flap to complete the look.

The purse is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no tears, loose threads or stains. There are some slight surface scratches on the Brass letters but do not take away from this bags great looks. The purse is unsigned but made by an experienced purse maker due to the quality. This stylish bag was made Circa 1950's.
