Featured is an exquisite coat from the 1940s. It is made with medium-weight faille in dusty blue and ivory, heavily trimmed with multi shaped sequins, beads, and rhinestones. The large collar falls gently over the shoulders and is pointed in the back. The sleeves are also pointed and snap at the wrist. It is fitted at the waistline and has a flared skirt. It is fully lined and fastens with a hook and eye at center front.
