For sale is a nice Beaded Clutch made by Richere in Japan. The clutch measures approximately 8 1/4" wide and 4 1/2" tall.

The clutch depicts a 1 1/2" horizontal band of a Floral pattern across the front of the purse. The entire purse is beaded with ivory colored seed beeds and pearls for the flower centers. The band is outlined with a rope braid made of beads on both the top and bottom of the design. The back of the purse is plain however completely covered in rows of the beads. There is a zipper closure that opens to an ivory satin lined interior with one pocket inside. The zipper has a little beaded fabric tassle for easy opening.

The clutch is signed on the interior with a white satin label sewn in that reads "Richere HAND MADE IN JAPAN". The purse is considered to be in very good condition as there are no loose or missing beads, no tears or stains on the interior and the zipper works fine. There is a small stain on the back of the purse that is underneath the beads but does not bleed through to the ling. I believe this could be soaked out but I am saving that for the new owner to tackle.

The clutch was made Circa 1955-1964.
