Antique ladies gilt metal dance purse/compact. The inside is marked F & B in a flag. It has a spring loaded clip where a lady may keep notes, papers or cash. There's another compartment that lifts open for makeup and another mirrored compartment that lifts open for powder. All the compartments shut tightly when closed as does the case. From the top of the chain to the bottom of the compact it measures 8 inches. The dance purse or compact itself measures 3 1/4 inches high by 2 1/4 inches wide by 1/2 inch deep. It has a cartouche where one could engrave their name or initials. It is in excellent condition. Guaranteed to please the as are all our items. (Item #70763)
