Exquisite micro beading to this purse made over 100 years ago, probably in France.Tiny beads, arranged to depict a wonderful assortment of flowers: roses, pansies, marigolds and Morning Glory in a broad central panel on a ground of iridescent pearly silver beads, surrounded by two panels of autumn brown background with scrolling vineleaves on either side. Fringe of twisted blue-green beads.Quality of the workmanship is superb. Pattern is repeated on both sides.Measures 7 1/2inches long (including fringe) and 5 3/4inches wide.Missing lining and clasp, but otherwise very good condition.
