Carved & engraved mother of pearl coin purse. 19th century. England. Rectangular shape with rounded sides. Length is 2 1/2inches. The top is carved into form of a leafy branch with a berry at the end. Back is a single, large slab of shell - absolutely magnificent colours. Inside, original blue silk compartments.
