Embroidered, silkwork and painted picture of a courting couple. A silk needlework picture,with painted hands, feet and faces. Probably dates to late 19th or early 20th century.The gilt wood frame looks later - possibly 1950-60''s.Needlework in fabulous colours from gold to purple. The woman''s hair is further detailed with purplish beads that glitter and add lustre.Excellent condition.Frame measures 27 1/2 X 23 1/2inches. Picture is 19 1/4 X 15 1/2 inches.
