Exquisitely colored machine-made tapestry from the middle part of the 20th Century. It depicts the encounter of a young man with two ladies into a landscape with bridge and village in the distance. The borders are intricately embellished with bunches of flowers, quiver of arrows and floral garlands. Note the small shield with 3 Fleur de Lys and the initials HAL at the bottom of the tapestry. Circa date 1930. Dimensions 52 ½"high/ 76 ¾"wide.
