Silver and vermeil dessert server, France circa late 1800's. The handle is a heavy silver foil formed over a solid core material, the bowl is silver with a gold wash. Fine engraving on the front of the bowl, the handle is finely worked and bears an illegible makers mark and the assay mark. Dimensions: 21.2 cm long x 5.9 cm wide. Wear appropriate to age and use.
